First Year - Second Semester Weave Work 'Fashion' (January - May 2009)

I have went to Leeds "Royal Armouries" Gallery to see the Armours and accessories there that it has been used in the World War decades before I was born. I have taken these inspiration from Japanese armour and little decorations of the armour and accessories into a repeat pattern. I really enjoyed the project, but wished that I could have done more better with my sketchbook, that I will have to do it in the future for a good publishment for my viewers one day of where I get my ideas from.

I have used the red and blue yarns because when I visited the Leeds "Royal Armouries" Gallery and I really like the red and blues together as  part of my samples and it is so much common with red and blue in fashion and reailty.

I have done the warp by myself, made it by hand and also threaded up the hand loom. I have found it very time consuming at first, but I really enjoyed everything for the technical side and I found it very challenging that I really want to challenge myself to test my instincts and myself to be unique and also not afraid of who I am.
